Helios Apartments
EXTENDING LUXURY AND CHARTING NEW TRAILS IN INTOWN ATLANTA.
THE PROJECT: Fall 2015, Catalyst broke ground on a new 282 unit, Class-AA apartment community in Atlanta, GA. The property is a six-story urban infill product with ready access to Buckhead, Midtown, Piedmont Heights, Morningside, Virginia-Highland and Emory/CDC. With a vision of providing residents with ample amenities and greenspace, this project will feature a 60ft wide frontage of park space and social areas between the building and bustling Cheshire Bridge Road. The contemporary one- and two-bedroom units will contain luxury finishes including: quartz counters, subway tile backsplashes, two-tone cabinetry and wood-inspired plank flooring. Floor plans incorporate gourmet kitchens with table-sized islands, stainless steel appliances, walk-in showers, nine-foot ceilings, extra-large closets, wine refrigerators and full-size, front loading washers and dryers in most units.
THE CATALYST: In addition to impressive curb appeal, this community provides immediate access to "Cheshire Farm Trail" which connects to Path400 and ultimately the Atlanta BeltLine. Centrally located, with rapid access to I-85 and GA-400, this community has radial reach to Buckhead, Midtown, Lenox Road, Piedmont Heights, Morningside, Virginia Highland, Emory and North Druid Hills neighborhoods. Community amenities will include: premium bike storage and workroom, a two-story fitness center with weights, cardio and Yoga/Spin room, virtual fitness training, contemporary community spaces for lounging, working, playing and socializing with a focus on authentic finishes and experiences aimed at attracting an active professional Millennial. The top-floor "Sky Lounge" will feature indoor and outdoor patios along with dramatic views. RESULTS: Helios has enjoyed steady leasing velocity since opening, with nearly full occupancy since Summer 2018. As a stabalized community, Catalyst Development Partners sold Helios for over $65.7M in December 2019.
