Apex Prima Vista 

Repositioning proximity in Port St. Lucie at Apex Prima Vista. 

THE PROJECT: In September 2014, Catalyst acquired this 320-unit garden style community in Port St. Lucie, FL (formerly named Pine Lakes Apartments). Apex Prima Vista borders natural lakes and is perched near the Savannas Preserve State Park – a 10 mile coastal marsh and environmental education center. Just off Prima Vista Boulevard, a readily identifiable thoroughfare in the market, Apex Prima Vista is positioned with easy access to Highway US-1, I-95 and the Florida Turnpike. This community provides Port St. Lucie residents with immediate access to employment, while also being positioned in close proximity to nature preserves and the Atlantic Ocean’s desirable beaches. 

THE CATALYST: In December 2014, the property was renamed and rebranded to Apex Prima Vista to capitalize on its well-known location. Upon renaming this community to Apex Prima Vista, Catalyst updated all branding and clubhouse amenities to bring this 2003-built project up-to-date with contemporary styling. As part of any successful transition, Catalyst supported onsite property managers to ensure the new brand identity was conveyed in all communications and marketing touchpoints.

THE RESULT: After comprehensive rebranding and staff training, Apex Prima Vista experienced 6% rent growth. Catalyst Development Partners successfully sold Apex Prima Vista in January 2016.
